Nursing Alumni Reconnect

On May 15, nursing alumni gathered to reconnect with friends and faculty, as they enjoyed dinner and fellowship together.

During the evening, they heard about the College’s proposed plans for the new health sciences building. The plans include a major renovation of the existing physical education building to enlarge and enhance the facility to provide state-of-the-art classrooms and learning laboratories for the health science programs, including nursing. They also had the opportunity to watch a new simulation video used in the nursing program for labor and delivery training.

Additionally, the College recognized the efforts of nursing alumna Polly McGraw ‘81 in obtaining a $20,000 nursing scholarship grant through her employer Genex Services, Inc. in Wayne. Due to Polly’s initiative and advocacy on behalf of the College, scholarship funds will be available for future nursing students in need of financial assistance to complete their education. We extend our thanks and sincere appreciation to Polly McGraw for her outstanding support.
