Celebrating Success

Alumni Honored for Outstanding Achievements

Montgomery County Community College honored six distinguished individuals as they were inducted into the College’s Alumni Hall of Fame on Friday, October 5, 2012. Family and friends gathered in the newly renovated Parkhouse Hall atrium in Blue Bell to celebrate the diverse accomplishments of these honorees.

Cynthia DiccianniCynthia Diccianni, East Norriton, 1997, Founder and Owner, Diccianni Financial Group, Inc. Cynthia has attained successful careers in both the health care and financial planning industries. She holds an Associate in General Studies degree from Montgomery County Community College, an Associate in Nursing degree from Hahnemann University, and numerous certifications, including Chartered Financial Consultant, Certified Senior Advisor and Certified in Long Term Care.

Julian HauckJulian Hauck, Harleysville, 1981, President and Owner of Genesis Fitness Centre and Club EZ Fit. Julian’s business career has combined his can-do philosophy with his desire to be the best he can be. In addition to an Associate in General Studies degree from Montgomery County Community College, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from East Stroudsburg University. He is also certified through the Growth Accelerated Program from Baiada Entrepreneurship Institute at Drexel University. View Video



Scott RauScott Rau, Pottstown, 1978, Senior Vice President and Director of Mobile Payments with Chase. Scott has three decades of experience in the financial industry, specializing in the development and enhancement of customer payment technologies, with a variety of companies, including Chase. He holds an Associate in Arts degree in Business Administration from Montgomery County Community College and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from George Washington University.

Myrtle WilliamsMyrtle Williams, Fort Washington, Artist. Myrtle has been creating art for more than 37 years, and has shown her work in galleries throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Washington D.C. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Beaver College (now Arcadia University), and she completed a year-long apprenticeship at University of the Arts.

Kwan MarrowKwan Marrow, Malvern, 2007, Rising Star Inductee, Social Networking Manager with Gregory FCA. Kwan holds an Associate in Arts degree in Liberal Arts from Montgomery County Community College and a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communications from Penn State University — Abington. He has worked as a Social Networking Manager at Gregory FCA in Ardmore since 2009.

Paul S. “Mike” BitnerPaul S. “Mike” Bitner, Salford, Honorary Inductee, Former Chairman of Montgomery County Community College’s Board of Trustees. He served as a member of the College’s Board of Trustees from 1991-1993 and 1997-2010, including 10 years as Chairman. Montgomery County Community College honored his passionate commitment to education by awarding Mr. Bitner with an Honorary Associate in Letters degree during the College’s 2010 Commencement Exercises.
